Agreed! So much engine, so little car.

what roadworks?
theres no avoiding them here
(especially not in my town at the moment...seems theyve decided to dig up every street and the town square at the same time here...its kind of a pain to get around now)

No. This would also be true of Michigan’s UP, if “traffic” existed there.

They also made a ‘more rarer’ SLK55 AMG Black.
That looks like an R171. I think the R172 SLK/SLC was the last of the line, so there shall be no more.

This is true. Any pictures of roads do not include cars because traffic consists of two cars within a 5 mile stretch. I miss the UP.

Did you live there? I haven’t been up there in too many years, but it’s gorgeous, as long as you catch some decent weather.
Years ago, I had a GF whose parents had a log cabin on Lake Superior, a bit we st of Pictured Rocks. Fantastic place to visit, though I couldn’t live that far north.

Grew up there. Most of the immediate and extended fam still live there. I’d move back but the missus puts a hard no on that. Weather is far to similar to where she grew up and hates the cloudy, overcast days.
Went back this summer as a surprise for my dad’s 70th.

The ump for my beer kickball league had a black series. No idea what he did for a living or why he ump’ed drunk 30s trying to cling to youth on the side.

Was it out of warranty? He probably had to work two side gigs.
